Design Information

Easy access to design standards and suggestions will aid the development of the network. The British Horse Society is well placed to provide this.

Dr Phil Wadey, Regional Access Officer (East), The British Horse Society

This is the index to British Horse Society approved advice for everyone involved in implementing the National Bridleroute Network. The notes should answer frequently asked questions from local authorities, engineering companies and clubs and other organisations involved in the design and implementation of the National Bridleroute Network. It will be constantly reviewed and updated to ensure that lessons learned in one area are accessible to the rest of the country. Where trial or interim advice is given, this will be clearly noted in the information sheets. At present, this is a list of areas on which advice will be published during the coming year.
