The Trans Pennine Trail is a coast to coast route across the country for walkers,
cyclists, and where possible, riders. Barnsley is the area where the sections of the
Trail from North, South, East and West meet. The Trail uses sections
of path with their own local names such as the Upper Don Trail or
the Dove Valley Trail but they are all part of the coast-to-coast
route. A horse box parking area is provided, as described in the leaflet.
