Trans Pennine Trail: The Trail in Barnsley

The Trans Pennine Trail is a coast to coast route across the country for walkers, cyclists, and where possible, riders. Barnsley is the area where the sections of the Trail from North, South, East and West meet. The Trail uses sections of path with their own local names such as the Upper Don Trail or the Dove Valley Trail but they are all part of the coast-to-coast route. A horse box parking area is provided, as described in the leaflet.
