    Acknowledgements
A number of people and organisations have given their time and expertise to provide details for the book and open up the trails.
In particular, The British Horse Society would like to thank the following people who played a major role in its production: Jonathan Targett, former County Bridleways Officer for South Warwickshire, who set the ball rolling researching many routes with such enthusiasm despite his ailing health; Stella White, his successor as County Access and Bridleways Officer for South Warwickshire, who picked up the reins and continued researching, surveying and developing the routes, often accompanied by her moth Mrs Flo Tallis. Not only did Mrs Tallis help survey many of the routes, but whilst doing so produced the majority of the delightful drawings that illustrate the book.
Thanks are due to Keith Turnecliff of K T Photographic who produced the cover photographs, and members of the Department of Planning, Transport and Economic Strategy at Warwickshire County Council who not only supported the project but helped with the many problems that came to light during the course of the research.
Finally, the Society would wish to pay tribute to Andrew Robertson, a student who was on a one-year placement with the Society's Access and Rights of Way Department. Andrew drew together the entire project, riding and describing all but one of the trails on his mountain bike. Personally responsible for obtaining all other the copy needed for the book, Andrew worked diligently towards his goal and in doing so enabled the Society to publish a trail guide for its 'home county' in the Society's Golden Jubilee year.
