The Upper Ceiriog Trail

This is a 14 mile (23km) trail, with shorter options, for competent horse riders. It can also be used by mountain bikers and walkers. Much of the terrain is rugged and exposed. The weather can change suddenly. The route generally follows the high ground which encloses the deeply cut Ceiriog Valley. Rising to 1500ft (457m) the landscape is varied and the views are superb. Wildlife is plentiful and humans are few!
