One of the aims of Ride UK is to provide a central location
where people can find out about promoted riding routes.
These might be long distance linear or circular routes
and shorter community circuits. If you know of, or are planning, any such routes, please let us know. We will add them to the list so
that work is not duplicated!

A second aim is to develop new routes to reflect the modern needs of
riders in Northern Ireland.

At present we have few promoted routes in Northern Ireland.
Anyone riding in the area or wishing to plan a long distance or
circular bridleroute may wish to use these excellent
Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland maps.
Where to stay
People wishing to try out the riding away from home may wish to know
where they can keep their horses overnight. A useful book entitled
Bed and Breakfast for Horses which lists places to keep a horse overnight
can be purchased from the British Horse Society. Entries include:
