Lanchester Valley Railway Path

The Lanchester Valley railway path is a 12 mile (19km) linear ride, from Lydgetts Junction just south of Consett to the Broompark Picnic Area near Stonebridge.

    Further Information
    At its northern end, the route meets Waskerley Way and the Derwent Valley railway path at Lydgetts Junction. At its southern end, the route meets the Deerness Valley railway path and the Brandon to Bishop Auckland railway path.
