UK: South East and East Midlands: Midshires Way

The Midshires Way

The Midshires Way is a 225 mile (360km) long distance route from The Ridgeway near Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, though Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Stockport. The Derbyshire and Stockport sections are not presently open to riders, although the leaflet pack advises that it is planned to create a bridleway path to complete the route. The Midshires Way in Buckinghamshire follows Swan's Way.


Status: Open to riders south of the Derbyshire border.

Promotion
A pack of leaflets describing the route is available from the following authorities. Each one also produces a leaflet covering the section of the route in their area. A telephone call to check the price of any publication is well advised before writing.
