Sett Valley Trail

The Sett Valley Trail provides a motor traffic free route of 2 1/2 mile (4km) for walkers, riders and cyclists between New Mills and Hayfield along the route of the former railway line. The trail passes through attractive countryside and connects to local bridleways.

    Where to stay
    A useful book entitled Bed and Breakfast for Horses which lists places to keep a horse overnight can be purchased from the British Horse Society.
