Ducal Nottinghamshire: Clumber to Crookford

This is an 18 mile (30km) mixture of bridleways and minor roads which can be ridden as a circuit. The route passes the villages of Bothamsall, Clumber and Crookford, and passes near to Elkesley.

    A useful book entitled Bed and Breakfast for Horses which lists places to keep a horse overnight can be purchased from the British Horse Society.
